Following on from Folklore Tapes 2018 in-depth calendrical almanac, exploring customs from across the UK, this new calendar goes even deeper, drawing upon the archive of the late artist Dave Pearson’s exhaustive work into English customs. Dave Pearson dedicated ten years of his life to writing, drawing, collaging and etching every corner of the English custom calendar year. This wall calendar combines David Chatton Barker’s and Dave Pearson’s research along with Pearson’s incredibly detailed artwork, taken from his notebooks and etchings. The calendar features a fascinating and inspiring series of Pagan, Celtic and Christian revels, moveable feasts, fairs, mumming, divination, rites, rituals, Saint’s days, dances, tree blessings and so much more.

The calendar also includes the Celtic Tree months along with full moon names and visual monthly moon phases to aid seed sowing, mushroom foraging and lunacy!
